FSA carcass contamination case referred to European Court of Justice: The Supreme Court has referred a case in which a bull carcass was rejected by a Veterinary Inspector. When a further veterinary inspection judged the carcass satisfactory, the FSA inspector did not apply to the court for forfeit of the carcass and maintained its instruction for disposal as animal by product waste. The European Court is asked to determine whether EU law has been correctly implemented in the UK and applied correctly by FSA. View >
