RFH Brexit Update W/E 12th April. Freeports consultation deadline extended until 13th July.

Brexit Developments

Freeports consultation deadline extended until 13th July:  The government wants to establish 10 freeports, which have different customs rules than the rest of the country, that are innovative hubs, boost global trade, attract inward investment and increase productivity. The government has the following objectives for UK freeports:

  • establish freeports as national hubs for global trade and investment across the UK
  • promote regeneration and job creation
  • create hotbeds for innovation. View >
