DWF advises on sale of global supply chain business

23 September 2021

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has advised the shareholders of Advanced Supply Chain Group in relation to the sale of ASCG to the Reconomy Group.

Reconomy Group is the leading provider of outsourced, asset-light services to the circular economy. The acquisition will enable ASCG and the Reconomy Group to provide technology-enabled global support for leading retail brands seeking to manage their environmental impact.

DWF's Corporate teams in Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham advised the owners of ASCG on the sale, led by Manchester partner Alasdair Outhwaite, alongside senior associate Darren Ormsby and associate Rebecca Gargary (both in Manchester), partner James Cashman (Liverpool) and associate Deborah Payne (Birmingham).

Alasdair Outhwaite said: "ASCG is a fast-growing business with an enviable retail client list. The business has experienced more than a decade of revenue growth, and in joining with the Reconomy Group, this will enable the larger combined business to continue to expand and build on what is possible in supply chain innovation."

Claire Webb, ASCG managing director, said: "I would like to thank Alasdair, Rebecca and the whole DWF team for their hard work, good humour and commercial advice throughout the process."
