Andrew's expertise spans the commercial and contractual litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution fields and he deals with complex contractual disputes, shareholder claims, corporate disputes, IT disputes and commercial agent regulation claims. He has particular expertise in working with organisations in the oil and gas and technology sectors.
Andrew has substantial experience of working on complex and high value commercial disputes, in particular international and cross-jurisdictional matters. He acted for the Ukrainian Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) in a USD1 billion fraud and tracing claim. He acted for Mispare and Queeld successfully defending a claim by a Russian Trustee in Bankruptcy. Andrew has also acted on a number of high value and complex technology claims, including a recent multi-million GBP dispute in the utility sector. Additionally, he has over 25 years of experience and a great deal of expertise in disputes involving agency and distribution.
Andrew's team was involved in the BP TNK litigation case and collectively wrote an experts report on English Law for the Russian Court resulting in the client obtaining a court award of approximately $3 billion.
Andrew was previously a partner in the international team at a national firm that won the Law Society award for excellence for exporting legal services.
