Nick acts for private companies in relation to property disposals, acquisitions, leasehold transactions, and in respect of complex title issues arising in relation to clients' registered and unregistered titles. Nick has specialised in acting for UK companies in relation to sales of portfolios of properties, and for Financial Institutions and LPA Receivers in relation to property disposals (both residential and commercial). Nick has acted on large scale projects on behalf of corporate and public sector clients in respect of title/deeds review, due diligence, and bulk property disposal/acquisition transactions.
Nick has also acted for major corporate property portfolio owners in respect of ongoing estate rationalisation programmes, and programmes to regularise undocumented leasehold occupancies. Nick has worked with his clients to develop standardised documents for the various categories of occupancies at their sites, and to develop online portals for use by commercial property clients in streamlining their instruction and transaction process. This has included production of innovative online client facing questionnaires to facilitate auto-generation of documents for use with their property transactions, assisting clients with ongoing process improvements.
