There are more than 1.2 billion people around the world with disabilities. When you consider the numbers of people that experience temporary disabilities and who have caring responsibilities, disability is a topic that will be relevant to most people at some point in their lives.
Over the last two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has provided additional challenges and opportunities in terms of visibility, inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities.
In this panel discussion we will be exploring some of challenges faced by people with physical and hidden disabilities as well as those caring for others. We will also be hearing their views on how we can create more inclusive environments and what actions we can take to be more mindful and inclusive of people with disabilities.
