When we’re through new and different circumstances, our traditional ways of working are challenged, and we must find new ways to progress forwards. The overall aim is to solve the problems we face and use creative thinking to work more efficiently and effectively by resolving those problems.
Being able to solve problems effectively enhances your credibility and enhances your value and perception. It also improves other skills which are required as part of successful problem solving, such as creative thinking.
We will look at effective approaches to problem solving and decision making that have proven to be successful in producing improvements in efficiency, performance, and productivity.
By the end of this course you will:
- Have a better of understanding of structured approaches to problem solving
- Be able to define the difference between creative and lateral thinking
- Learn different techniques for problem solving and creative thinking
