Nine DWF lawyers recognised in Legal 500 Hall of Fame

Nine legal experts from DWF have been recognised in The Legal 500 Hall of Fame.
Published by The Legal 500, an annual industry benchmarking guide which compiles data and research from clients, submissions and interviews to showcase the legal market's top talent, the Hall of Fame recognises lawyers who have received the highest level of praise and consistent positive feedback from clients over the last ten years.

Litigation consultant Andrew Harris (Manchester), National Head of Commercial & Competition Craig Chaplin (Manchester), Head of Occupational Health and Casualty Derek Adamson (Birmingham), Head of Insurance for Belfast Gareth Jones, banking partner James Szerdy (Liverpool), Head of Global Casualty & Property John Groome (London), National Head of Counter Fraud Lorraine Carolan (Birmingham), real estate partner Mark Tinman (Belfast) and corporate partner Paul Pignatelli (Glasgow) have all achieved the accolade.

DWF has achieved a number of awards in 2018 so far including insurance industry recognition for Best Fraud Prevention Solution of the Year and Legal Partner of the Year at the Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards, Insurance Law Firm of the Year at the Post Claims Awards and Outsourced Partner of the Year at the British Insurance Awards. The business won Litigation Team of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards and achieved Gold in the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI) new Talent Inclusion & Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) Awards for its outstanding equality, diversity and inclusion practices.

The business has continued its international growth in the last 12 months with the opening of the Milan office and two new Australian offices, in Brisbane and Melbourne, in October 2017. An additional Australian office, in Newcastle, New South Wales, was opened in May 2018. Furthermore, DWF launched its new Connected Services offering in October 2017 which forms an umbrella for a range of businesses that complement the business's core legal offering as well as offering stand-alone consultative services and products that help clients manage their risk, cost, time, reputation and resource.
