DWF Australia awarded two places in the Lawyers Weekly ‘30 under 30’ honours list

DWF Australia is pleased to announce that Alex McLeod and Alexander Wheeler have been named in the Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 Awards for 2019.

Alex McLeod was the winner of the Construction and Infrastructure category while Alexander Wheeler was awarded for excellence in Real Estate law.

Lawyers Weekly, in partnership with Taylor Root, announced the winners of this year’s 30 Under 30 Awards in Sydney last Friday, 10th May.  This is the 7th year the awards have celebrated excellence in young lawyers across Australia.

Sydney-based Alex McLeod is gaining recognition as an infrastructure, energy and government specialist, advising clients on a range of construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities and renewable energy matters. Newcastle-based Alexander Wheeler has a particular focus on the acquisition, disposal, leasing and development of residential and commercial land in New South Wales.

DWF entered the Australian legal market in 2017 and has since opened four offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle. DWF Australia now employs more than 130 people in Australia, including 27 principal lawyers and more than 60 other fee earners providing our clients with a range of complex, managed and connected services.
