DWF supports Birmingham food festival for second year

06 June 2019
Birmingham
Global legal business DWF is the headline sponsor at this year's Colmore Food Festival, for the second year in a row.

Organised by Colmore Business District (Colmore BID), the hugely popular annual event showcases the finest food and drink from hospitality venues across Birmingham’s thriving commercial quarter. The free to enter Colmore Food Festival, now in its ninth year, is taking place at Victoria Square in Birmingham, on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 July from 11am -7pm.

Jon Stevens, executive partner of DWF's Birmingham office, said: "It has been a very busy 12 months for DWF which has seen us become the largest legal business to list on the London Stock Exchange and we've also expanded globally with a new office in Poland.

"It is also equally important to us to be involved in the local communities in which we are based. So I am delighted that we are once again sponsoring the Colmore Food Festival. It's always a fantastic event which reflects the wonderful food scene in Birmingham."

Michele Wilby, Colmore BID's Chief Executive, said: "We're immensely grateful to DWF for their continued support of the Colmore Food Festival.  We've recently released details of the menu for this year's Festival and once again there's a great variety of food and drink on offer. There really is something for everyone to enjoy and I'm sure the upcoming Festival will prove as popular as ever. I'm looking forward to another fantastic celebration of Colmore's culinary scene."

With an office at One Snowhill, DWF offers the full spectrum of legal services across sectors including insurance, real estate, retail food and hospitality and financial services.
