Donal Scott is a specialist in dispute resolution, with a specific focus on commercial litigation and international arbitration. Donal's practice encompasses a wide array of sectors including financial services, technology, aviation and shareholder disputes.
He has successfully resolved disputes before the DIFC, onshore UAE, English and Irish Courts. He has also represented clients in arbitral proceedings under the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), the ICC Court of Arbitration, the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the DIFC-LCIA and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
Donal represents banks, high profile funds, litigation funders and global IT, transport and infrastructure companies. In addition to substantive disputes, he has acted on several high value asset recovery and enforcement matters across numerous continents. Donal originally qualified in London and has more than six years' experience practicing law in the Middle East, in addition to two years practicing in Ireland.
