His strategic role delivers demonstrable value to DWF through the development and implementation of a group wide Facilities Services Strategy that is fully integrated with key business objectives.
Karl is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of the group's operations to internal and external customers and ensuring that operations are delivered in line with agreed requirements, profit margins and the firm wide business plan. Following company strategy, he contributes to, and develops, the benefits of acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships to grow the firm. He provides the leadership required both individually and collectively with the Business Services Executive Team and this keeps the firm consistent with its vision and values.
His specialities include organisational strategy, developing people, effective supplier partnerships, portfolio management, building design and use, building fabric maintenance, building services, managing support services (Secretarial & Administration), financial management, legislation, guidelines and best practice, space management, procurement, health & safety, environmental issues, managing customer expectation, project management, process improvement and service excellence.
