Experience
Katie has developed an excellent reputation for her specialist knowledge of the National Security and Investment Act 2021 regime, advising clients across a wide range of sectors on the application of the Act to their mergers and acquisitions. She has experience across a broad range of competition topics, including strong, varied experience in relation to merger control issues in the UK and EU. Katie also regularly advises on the Subsidy Control Act and how clients can ensure compliance with the UK's new Subsidy Control regime, and has a particular interest in the UK and EU rules on horizontal agreements. Prior to joining DWF, Katie was a civil servant, working on Court of Justice of the European Union litigation matters as part of the Cabinet Office Europe Legal Group. She also has experience working for the European Parliament in Brussels.
