Event Details
The COVID-19 pandemic was reported as a great leveller; we would see inequality reduced as there was a sense that we were all in it together and people were suffering equally.
With the shift to working from home, people were optimistic this would support the careers of working parents and/or carers to not only to stay within law and insurance, but also enable them to progress in a way that perhaps had not been possible within the confines of a traditional working model.
As the pandemic has progressed, the inequality gap has widened. The pandemic has revealed just how fragile the progress we had made in respect of equality and inclusion has been.
Join us at this special event, where I will be joined by a host of panellists from the insurance and law industry discussing these issues and the impact of the unequal workplace. We will share our thoughts on how, post-pandemic, individuals and firms might ‘build back better’.
