The DWF Young Professionals Network are delighted to invite you to our next event, open to all young professionals from any industry.
Innovation is a term used by companies all over the world. No matter how experienced you are, what your role is, where you are based or what team you work in, everyone can generate ideas.
During this event we will hear from three panellists from adidas, Fujitsu and DWF who will explore what innovation really means, look at how it works in their organisations and discuss some real life practical examples of when innovation has succeeded or failed.
The event is free of charge.

Jonathan Patterson, Managing Director of Innovation & Ventures at DWF
As Managing Director of Innovation & Ventures, Jonathan is responsible for generating new ideas, delivering R&D priorities and supporting early growth services. In a rapidly changing legal market his major focus is working with clients to develop new products and services that combine specialist legal expertise with emerging technology, resourcing models and processes.
External Speakers
Alice Collins, Global Head of Data and Innovation - Fujitsu
Alice joined Fujitsu on the graduate scheme working within Fujitsu's defence business and across the applications space in Western Europe, Middle East and India. In June 2019, she was appointed the Legal Operations Manager focusing on data, knowledge management, technology innovation, financial and vendor management, and communications and reporting. In April 2021, Alice was appointed the Global Head of Data and Innovation focusing on how to better enable people, process and technology for more collaborative, efficient and agile working in the digital services space.
Alex Herrity, Senior Director (legal) - adidas
Alex is a qualified lawyer focused on ‘Legal Operations’ in adidas’s Global Legal Solutions team. Global Legal Solutions at adidas is responsible for driving the efficiency and overall performance of adidas’ legal teams, and developing and implementing their strategy across legal tech, legal spend, legal knowledge and communication. Alex is currently on secondment in the adidas North Europe & Nordics legal team as the Senior Director.
