Clients, business contacts and senior DWF representatives including chairman Sir Nigel Knowles attended the celebratory event at The St Regis Doha on November 14th to network and celebrate the expansion of DWF in the Middle East.
DWF has 27 offices across four continents. The legal business has been working with clients in Qatar for some time and formalised its presence earlier this year in response to client demand. It is currently located at Tornado Tower in West Bay, Doha.
Kirk Durrant, Managing Partner of DWF in Qatar, said: "It was a pleasure to celebrate our success to date with clients and friends of the business. Qatar is a buoyant and diverse market and with globally-recognised events such as the 2022 World Cup and major infrastructure projects on the horizon, it's a significant time for the country.
"As an innovative disrupter in the legal sector, we are recognised for 'doing things differently' and so in addition to our core legal services, we are introducing our Connected Services for the benefit of our clients. This range of complementary specialist business solutions sets us apart and enables us to deliver a very robust offering in Qatar."
DWF Qatar has a high level of expertise in construction and PPP across numerous sectors including hospitality, energy, transport and infrastructure alongside a strong corporate team. The team also has excellent capabilities in claims management, negotiation and domestic/international arbitration.
