He specialises in liability, cover and comparative law with a focus on complex and high value work. Iftikhar also covers litigation and arbitration cases and will provide international indemnity expertise to construction, engineering and energy professionals from the DWF London hub. Having advised a wide-range of high profile clients, Iftikhar has previously worked with Chubb, Aviva, Zurich, CNA Hardy and Starstone.

Kieran Walshe, Practice Group Partner, Professional Indemnity and Commercial Insurance at DWF, said: "Iftikhar brings a breadth of expertise on managing coverage and liability claims all around the world and will provide a particular strength in construction market and sector expertise when working alongside our UAE and Latin America offices. We look forward to growing our team further with Iftikhar on-board."

Iftikhar Ali added: "DWF has an innovative international practice with offices in economically strong territories which create excellent opportunities for clients who are looking to branch out into international markets. DWF continues to focus on international lateral hires within the insurance sector, with the recent appointment of Steffen Ernemann in Munich.
