Euros represents corporate and individual clients across a broad spectrum of criminal and regulatory issues. He is experienced in multi-jurisdictional investigations and matters with multi-agency involvement, including investigations conducted by the SFO, NCA, HMRC and their foreign counterparts. He has regularly defended clients under investigation for corruption, serious fraud, direct and indirect tax fraud and money-laundering.
Euros also conducts and advises corporates on internal investigations and advises companies and their directors on governance issues. He helps clients to avoid financial crime risks in a wide range of scenarios, advising on compliance with Corporate Crime legislation and the implementation of preventative measures with a particular focus on anti-bribery, money laundering and tax evasion.
Euros is one of the leading practitioners in corporate crime and has been consistently ranked in the legal directories within this field. His appointment closely follows the addition of Alexander Gorst as a Senior Associate, who specialises in financial crime, fraud, regulatory investigations and prosecutions, and will work alongside Euros in expanding DWF's Corporate Crime offering.
Simon Sharp joins DWF's London office as a partner in the Finance and Restructuring practice. Simon arrives from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.
Simon is renowned for his work across all forms of real estate finance, acting for both lenders and borrowers including a range of financial institutions, debt funds and national and international sponsors.
Simon has significant experience of senior and mezzanine loans and structures and advises on investment and development transactions secured on the full spectrum of real estate asset classes including offices, residential, student accommodation, hotels, build to rent, logistics and retail. Simon is experienced at handling complex intercreditor arrangements and dealing with real estate joint ventures and restructurings.
