DWF appoints competition and sports partner in France

DWF, the global legal business, has appointed Emmanuel Durand as partner in its sports and competition practice in France. 

Emmanuel Durand has joined DWF in the Paris office, having previously been a partner at De Pardieu Brocas Maffei.

He specialises in competition law (anticompetitive practices, merger control and state aids) and commercial law. Emmanuel is also particularly well-recognised for his extensive expertise in sports and media law, advising clients including sports clubs, leagues and organising committees of major events on a wide range of topics, including, marketing, media, hospitality and naming rights. Beyond the sports sector, his client base is diversified, including large scale retailers, industrial companies and entertainment companies.
