Anna-Louise advises insurers, brokers and insureds on a broad range of complex and high-value claims, including employers' liability, public liability, fatal accident and catastrophic injury matters. She also has particular expertise in claims arising within the entertainment, media and events sectors, advising on liability disputes involving live events, sports and leisure activities, production environments and public-facing venues. Her practice encompasses multi-track litigation involving significant orthopaedic, neurological and psychological injuries, often requiring the coordination of multiple experts, rehabilitation providers and counsel.She has extensive experience assessing liability, causation and quantum, and provides strategic advice throughout the lifecycle of a claim, from initial investigations and pre-action strategy through to settlement, alternative dispute resolution and trial. Her work includes the preparation of pleadings, witness statements and applications, together with advice on procedural and tactical issues such as Part 36 strategy, relief from sanctions, summary judgment and strike out applications.
Anna-Louise is particularly experienced in managing complex claims involving substantial care, case management and loss of earnings claims, competing expert evidence and challenging evidential issues. She regularly works closely with insurer clients, insureds, brokers and co-insurers, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice designed to achieve proportionate and cost-effective outcomes.
