Skills and specialist knowledge:
Gabriella is a Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial & Competition team and has experience supporting the team on a wide range of commercial matters including public procurement, subsidy control advice and funding agreement reports. She also has experience in Real Estate Litigation, Corporate and Tax, having completed seats in these areas.
Gabriella supports the team in authoring articles for publication to ensure clients and colleagues are equipped to respond to legislative and case law updates.
Relevant experience:
- Assisted the team in providing amendments to a local authority’s notification of subsidy of particular interest to the CMA relating to their grant funding for zero emission buses and associated infrastructure
- Assisted the team in acting for a local council in the North East of England by preparing subsidy control advice in relation to the Levelling Up Fund Subsidy Scheme for the demolition and construction of a creative community hub
- Reviewed, drafted and advised on a range of commercial contracts including assistance on certain subsidy control matters.
- Researched, prepared and presented on a range of legal updates, including Procurement Act 2023 and liability case law updates.
