Experience
John has over 20 years' experience in the London Insurance Market, having started his career in 1997 as a coverholder auditor at a small, independent insurance management consultancy. Over a period of eight years, John led a team of auditors who performed c. 300 insurance audits across the UK, mainland Europe, South Africa, the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand.
In 2005, John joined QBE European Operations, initially as a Senior Auditor in the Internal Audit team, before moving into the claims team to build the claims supplier audit function, before creating and leading the Delegated Claims Management team.
After 11 years at QBE, John joined Triton Global in a senior claims management role, with responsibility for improving the governance framework and ensuring adherence to client contractual requirements.
Following the acquisition of Triton Global by DWF in early 2017, John took on the responsibility of relaunching the Insurance Audit team, which required to be "non-DWF" branded due to various client requirements.
Since creating Vueity in late 2017, John has overseen significant growth in both turnover and staff numbers and now leads the global team with auditors based in Australia, Canada, Italy, the UK and the USA.
The Audit team currently performs audits of third parties with delegated underwriting or claims authority, such as coverholders, Managing General Agents (MGAs), Third Party Administrators (TPAs), loss adjusters, brokers, assistance companies and law firms.
