Experience
Joe is a Delegated Authority Management expert with over 30 years insurance experience. Having started his career as a Motor Underwriting specialist at a Coverholder in East London, he later joined a leading London Insurer to deliver an extensive reinsurance recoveries project following the 2005 hurricanes in North America.
Later, he moved into Delegated Underwriting Authority joining a DUA team as the Coverholder Audit manager and auditor undertaking audits in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. Joe progressed to became Group Head of Delegated Underwriting Authority. His key responsibilities were to ensure key regulatory and country-specific requirements of DA management were adhered to across the various underwriting platforms within the organisation.
More recently, Joe worked as a Director at an auditing firm completing audits throughout the UK and across Europe.
Throughout his career, Joe has participated on a number of Lloyd's and LMA committees and led change projects within the organisations where he has worked.
In April 2023, he joined DWF Audit as Head of Global Audit to lead the team by delivering on the company's growth strategy.
