A team leader at Thompsons from 1995 until 2000. Thereafter until 2024 at BLM/Clyde & Co . Partner from 2003. Headed the London Disease team and head of strategic development nationally from 2019 and also headed the Care Group nationally.
Organised and presented at seminars, responsible for training both internally and externally for clients. Responsible for researching "new" diseases and the potential for claims which included Covid.
Presented roundtables on Covid for Insurers and brokers with a focus on the Care Sector .
Edited and drafted articles for the Care blog at BLM. Member of the Law Society's Council for 4 years on behalf of FOIL and a member of the Civil Justice Committee at The Law Society for 9 years.
Chaired the review of the Disease and Illness Pre Action Protocol in 2009/2010. Currently a member of the FOIL SFT for disease .(shared role)
