Experience
With over ten years of experience in cross-border legal practice between China and Italy, Yunxia specialises in M&A transactions, international trade and investment disputes. She advises major Chinese companies operating in the banking, energy, manufacturing, automotive and biotechnology sectors on their operations, investments and dispute resolution in Italy, through both judicial and extrajudicial proceedings, while supporting numerous Italian companies in their commercial and strategic development in China.She earned her Bachelor of Laws from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China and a Master of Laws from the University of Perugia, where, more than 15 years later, she returned as a CSC-funded Visiting Professor teaching Chinese Law. She obtained her PhD in Roman Law and the Codification of Civil Law in China from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, a joint degree with University of Rome “La Sapienza” and the China University of Political Science and Law.
She is currently Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Civil and Commercial Law at the School of Law, Shandong University of Finance and Economics; Executive Director of the Research Centre for Cooperation and Exchanges between Shandong Province and Italy; Executive Director of the Sino-Italian Research Centre for Law and Economics; and Arbitrator at the Jinan Arbitration Commission. As a Consultant for Investment and Talent Attraction in Jinan, she has promoted cooperation and the establishment of numerous Italian associations, enterprises and universities in China. She has advanced economic and commercial exchanges between Shandong and Italy, strengthening partnerships between the chambers of commerce and associations of the two countries.
