Health claim complaint upheld by advertising watchdog: The Advertising Standards Authority has upheld a complaint re advertising for Kellogg's Special K which included the statement ‘made with folic acid feeding development’ on the basis that the claim went beyond the EU authorised claim and was misleading having regard to the folic acid content. View > 
The ASA has also ruled against YouTube adverts by Mondelez for Freddo on the basis that they are promoting high fat, salt and sugar food to under 16’s. View > Sustain >

Government acts to embed non-regression on employment rights after Brexit: 
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has issued a package of regulations to underpin protection of employment rights post Brexit. View > Prime Minister >British Chambers of Commerce >

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 under review: BEIS has issued a call for evidence on the regulations which set out information a trader must give to a consumer before and after making a sale, how that information should be given, the right for consumers to change their minds when buying at a distance or off premises, a prohibition on additional payments and a prohibition on consumers having to pay premium phone rates for post contract customer helplines – Closes 1st May. View >
