He has over 20 years' experience advising insurers and large corporate clients in respect of high value and catastrophic injury claims, motor claims and employers and public liability.Paul spent almost 20 years working with Aviva, in different roles dealing with personal injury claims (including claims manager and in-house solicitor). He was part of a catastrophic injury unit at Aviva as well as being heavily involved in market influencing and a lobbying strategy. It is because of this time that, in addition to his technical ability, he has an understanding of the issues close to the insurance industry, including claims inflation and reserving.
Throughout Paul's career he has focused on the proactive, early investigation of motor, EL/PL accidents and commercial face-to-face negotiation. His current injury caseload ranges from exaggerated injuries through to chronic pain, orthopaedic injuries, amputees and serious spinal and brain injury. He has ACII, Chartered Insurer status.
Outside of work Paul supports Norwich City FC and enjoys playing tennis and golf as well as going to the gym and listening to music.
