What are the demands shaping future living?

30 November 2022

The way we live, and work, has changed so much in recent years. What will the homes and communities of the future look like, and what demands are shaping future living?

These are some of the questions being posed by the Future Living Research Group, a new research project organised by industry think tank The Future of Hospitality Institute that is part of PKF Hospitality Group.  DWF are proud partners of the Future Living project, which brings together global industry leaders from the UK, Europe, South Africa and the USA, to explore and reveal the trends that are shaping, and innovation needed, to improve and expand the serviced/ co-living sector.

Melanie WilliamsHead of Built Environment and Hospitality Sectors at DWF, said, "Future residential property will need to address complex and changing demands, as well as continuing to innovate and improve. We are interested in exploring ways in which the hospitality and built environment sectors can work together to deliver exciting and innovative co-living solutions. As the project develops, we look forward to sharing the findings of the research with our clients.

Paul Rands, Managing Director of the Future of Hospitality Institute said, "I’m excited that we have been able to bring together an outstanding diverse and multi-disciplinary group of partners to collaborate in the ´Future Living´ project, across geographies and asset classes. Supported by the world renowned Fraunhofer Institute and other international research partners we will be identifying the trends and innovations that will shape the serviced living sector over the coming decade and beyond."
