Stephen advises clients on a range of construction and infrastructure matters, with his areas of focus being the security of payment regime and back end construction disputes. A dual qualified engineer and lawyer, Stephen had 9 years' experience as a structural design engineer regularly attending on-site for supervision and inspections for both structural and civil work.
His subsequent five years post admission experience has been exclusively specialising in construction law. Stephen's move is a return to the DWF Construction team, alongside DWF Principal Lawyer and Construction specialist Lex Orange, as he previously practised at DWF as a Solicitor and then Associate (including a 12 month secondment to DWF's Doha office).
Commenting on the appointment, Damien van Brunschot, Managing Partner Australia, said: "Stephen has significant and practical industry experience that enhances our thriving Construction and Infrastructure practice in Australia and we are delighted to welcome him back to DWF".
