Experience
Amy's experience includes wrongful arrest, false imprisonment, assault (including prisoner on prisoner), trespass and malicious prosecution as well as negligence, claims under Human Rights Act 1998 and property damage.
Amy is regularly instructed by prisons and healthcare providers to represent them at inquests for deaths in custody and deaths in care, including those involving Article 2. She will then defend any subsequent civil claims for damages. Other areas of experience include claims for Judicial Review as well as Inquest law.
