Calum is a Partner in the major injury and casualty team in Edinburgh. He qualified as a solicitor in 1993. Calum is highly regarded for his experience in defending complex insurance litigation claims. He specialises in employers' liability claims, public liability work and product liability claims on behalf of major insurers, Lloyds Syndicates and policy holders.
Calum has significant experience of representing Scottish businesses accused of health and safety breaches and receives instructions to act on behalf of businesses in the construction industry.
Calum regularly provides training and seminars on a variety of topics and contemporary issues, including developments in the law.
Calum has a reputation of bringing a personal touch to the successful handling of complex claims and is known for providing pragmatic advice to achieve the best results for his clients.
In his spare time, Calum enjoys playing tennis, golf, running and spending time with his family and friends.
