Chrissy is a highly experienced and passionate criminal defence lawyer with an extensive background in general crime, having been defending clients in respect of a broad range of serious and complex police investigations and criminal prosecutions for over 15 years.
In more recent years, Chrissy has had a particular interest in criminal motor defence, advising and representing drivers following their involvement in serious injury and fatal road traffic collisions. This includes defending clients at all levels of the criminal justice system from interviews under caution at the police station through to Magistrates' Court and Crown Court proceedings. Also, where no criminal prosecutions are brought in respect of fatal collisions, advising and representing clients at Inquests.
Chrissy is regularly instructed by insurer clients to represent their drivers in respect of the most serious offences of Causing Death by Dangerous or Careless Driving, as well as in respect of the less serious offence of Careless Driving where there is a high civil reserve.
Chrissy also accepts direct instructions from privately funded clients in all manner of criminal investigations.
