Experience
Ioannis is an Associate at the DWF Arbitration Group in London. He joined DWF in August 2023. His practice focuses on international arbitration, in particular investment treaty arbitration (representing both investors and States) and commercial arbitration. He has experience in disputes related to the energy, mining, tourism and food distribution sectors, including in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. He also advises clients in settlement negotiations. Ioannis also has experience in issues of public international law, and the law and practice of international organisations.
Ioannis has previously worked for leading international arbitration practices such as Volterra Fietta (London) and Ecija Integrum (Guatemala City). He also has experience working for the Office of Legal Notices and Diffusions of ICPO-INTERPOL (Lyon).
Ioannis is a graduate of the Athens Faculty of Law of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2018). He also holds an LL.M. in Public International Law from Leiden University (2019).
