Lily studied the BPTC part time at the BPP University London (Holborn) achieving a 'Very Competent'. The modules she excelled in were 'Resolutions of Disputes out of Court', 'Drafting', and 'Criminal Litigation', achieving an 'Outstanding' in each.
Her previous experience includes 5 years working in the small legal team of a rapidly growing, fast-paced multi-jurisdictional General Insurance Group. Her position had strong commercial and strategic focus, with emphasis on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts; providing legal insight, opinion and advice; managing complaints litigation; and acting as the nominated legal advisor for complex or commercially significant projects. While working in this role she also became the first colleague to have been afforded full sponsorship to complete a BPTC.
Lily attended the University of Liverpool to complete her LLB (Hons) where she obtained a 2:1, excelling in Company Law and Financial Services Law which I took as elective modules, achieving a 1st in each. In her third year she was also the winner of the University of Liverpool's Third Year Mooting Competition.
