Experience
Having specialised in the defence of professionals since 2005, both in-house at professional indemnity insurers and in private practice. He acts regularly for traditional professionals such as lawyers, brokers and accountants but he has also acted in the defence of professional negligence claims against construction professionals (including architects, engineers and quantity surveyors) and property valuation surveyors.
Paul has experience of dealing with high volume litigation and has recently had involvement in the Ground Rent litigation against solicitors and claims against solicitors in respect of Collective Investment Schemes. In addition to defence work, Paul provides policy coverage advice in respect of the professional indemnity policies of both solicitors and construction professionals and has also represented solicitors in SRA and Legal Ombudsman complaints.
