Stephen is experienced in a range of issues with a number of successes at High Court level. Stephen's specialist interest is in issues of duty of care, protective equipment, policy considerations, fundamental dishonesty and all aspects of health and safety. He is known for his technical proficiency and has been involved in a number of successful appeals.
Stephen is often nominated by defendant companies in relation to litigated EL / PL claims on a wide range of issues, including those with questions of fundamental dishonesty or procedural impropriety, and has a particular interest in disease, construction and agricultural claims. Stephen is often asked to provide training to insurers on areas of litigation, civil procedure and case law update.
