Free Sénégal and Helios Towers have also agreed the terms and conditions of a 15-year Master Service Agreement providing for the use on the acquired sites and the sites to be built in the future.
The €200 million transaction is subject to regulatory approval. It is expected to be completed in the first half of 2021.
This agreement aims to enable Free Sénégal to extend the mobile coverage of its network by partnering with Helios Towers, which will become one of the largest passive telecom infrastructure providers in Senegal.
