Experience
As a DWF Advocate he welcomes instructions on:
- Road traffic accident and credit hire trials;
- Personal injury matters;
- Insolvency/bankruptcy proceedings;
- Procedural/interlocutory applications.
Prior to joining DWF, Alastair acquired experience handling a wide range of civil litigation as a paralegal at a leading north-based law firm, including: anti-social behaviour injunctions, possession orders, landlord/tenant disputes and commercial leasehold matters. Alastair has particular experience in drafting pleadings for such matters.
Alastair recently completed his Bar Training Course, obtaining an overall grade of Distinction. He was awarded one of the highest grades in his national cohort for his LLM Master of Laws dissertation on regulating emerging technology. He was awarded First-Class Honours in his undergraduate law degree, and has recently won awards in national and international advocacy competitions.
