Experience
Mairead specialises in the defence of Professional Negligence claims representing legal professionals, accountants, architects and engineers amongst others. She also deals with Personal Injury Litigation, Product Liability, Employer Liability, Defamation, and catastrophic claims. She has experience in acting for clients in arbitrations and mediations relating to commercial disputes, resolving disputes in a cost efficient manner for clients.
Mairead previously worked in Defence Litigation for a large west of Ireland firm for 20 years and in that role gained extensive experience in defence litigation acting for many prominent insurers in addition to Local Authorities and their insurers. Mairead has advocated in many types of cases in all courts from prosecutions for Local Authorities to defending road traffic and criminal cases in the District Court and defending cases in the Circuit and High Court. Mairead has also represented private clients in all courts over her years in practise.
