He has acted for a number of major insurers in liability matters and a number of leading manufacturing companies in the defence of occupational disease claims.Mark regularly advises insurance clients on the latest developments in the law and on tactics to secure savings.
He regularly acts for multi-national corporations in the defence of industrial disease claims in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
He has also advised major insurance clients on fraud indicators and defended third party fraud claims, including staged accidents, fraud rings and exaggerated personal injury claims.
Mark has considerable experience dealing with both high value and complex matters, often involving multi-jurisdictional issues.
He is also a qualified mediator and is a member of the Belfast Solicitors' Association, the Law Society of Northern Ireland, the Law Society of England & Wales and the Dispute Resolution Panel.
Mark co-authored a book on the sixties rock group, The Doors. When he is not indulging the whims of his daughters he enjoys reading, football and gigs.
