Experience
Rhys works on a wide variety of catastrophic and sub-catastrophic cases and has a comprehensive understanding of high-value claims covering employer's liability, motor, public and products' liability and third party property damage.
Having been called to the Bar in 2006, Rhys completed the QLTT and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2008, joined DWF as an Associate in 2013 and appointed Partner in 2018.
He works in a team focussed on catastrophic injury, products' liability, property, travel, regulatory, commercial and coverage disputes. He personally has a depth of knowledge and interest in complex brain injury cases.
He also deals with international, Pan-European and Transatlantic cross border claims, working on insurance matters arising out the US, Africa and mainland Europe.
Rhys was appointed as Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts All Proceedings) in 2011 and is a member of the Honourable Society of Inner Temple.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, skiing, playing golf and spending time with his family.
