For a fifth consecutive year, DWF’s Managing Director Jamie McPherson has been recognised as a Leading Workplace Health and Safety Lawyer. Jamie has over 20 years’ experience in Workplace Health and Safety, acting for clients in the construction, property, logistics, environmental services, leisure and energy sectors, as well as major state Government agencies and authorities.
Supervising Lawyer Andrew Ross garnered the same Leading accolade as Jamie for the second year in a row. Andrew regularly advises clients in the mining, manufacturing, government, transport, environment services and aged carer sectors, on employment issues, work health and safety training, risk management, incident response, investigations and defending prosecutions.
Joining Jamie and Andrew in the Doyle's Guide rankings as a Leading Employment Lawyer is Principal Lawyer Matthew Smith, who is head of DWF's Australian Employment, Safety and Regulatory practice. Matthew advises corporate and government clients on safety, regulation and industrial relations. He specialises in assisting clients to resolve highly-sensitive issues in often acrimonious litigated matters.
DWF's Chairman (Asia Pacific) Mark Hickey congratulated Jamie, Andrew and Matthew on their continued high standing among Queensland Employment and Workplace Health and Safety practitioners.
“Public validation by Doyle's Guide and others is humbling and appreciated. Jamie, Andrew and Matthew have long been regarded by clients and the profession as leading employment and workplace health and safety lawyers, and we are proud to see them recognised”, he said.
