DWF continues to develop its activities in France with the arrival of Philippe Feitussi and his team in its Corporate department, thus reinforcing the firm's position in Paris, in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, development capital, private equity, and in litigation. Clients include investment funds, SMEs, start-ups, credit institutions and large international groups, as well as their managers, particularly in the health and biotech sectors.
Philippe Feitussi assists his clients in both advisory and litigation matters, particularly in the context of negotiations, capital transactions and mergers and acquisitions. For over 25 years, he has advised industrial and real estate groups, banks, start-ups, investment funds and governments. Philippe Feitussi has been distinguished by numerous national and international rankings, including Legal 500 and Best Lawyers.
Philippe has joined the Paris office of DWF after starting his career with Giroux-Buhagiar et Associés. In 2000, he joined Huglo Lepage where he quickly created a business law department dedicated to the environment. In 2007, he was one of the founders of Genesis Avocats where he developed an important international network before joining De Gaulle Fleurance with his team in 2020.
Philippe joins the Corporate practice, which now comprises six partners and their teams. He is accompanied by two senior associates, Géraldine Salem, specialist in health law and Anthony Sarciaux, practising in private equity and mergers and acquisitions, alongside Marie Guégot as a corporate/litigation associate, as well as a paralegal assistant, Stéphanie Barbara-Vageon.
Philippe Feitussi, partner of DWF in France, comments: "My team and I are delighted to be joining DWF's Paris office. Our expertise will complement the firm's advisory and litigation practice and increase its corporate capabilities, allowing us to handle a greater volume of transactions of varying complexity and size, particularly in the biotech and healthcare sectors where we have a strong presence. The global dimension of the business and its original model are considerable advantages for our clients and their development."
Jean-François Mercadier, Managing Partner of DWF in France, adds: "We are delighted to welcome Philippe and his team to DWF's Corporate department in France. His particular experience in both advisory and litigation work gives him a global and often unique strategic vision of cases, which will be a real asset for the firm."
