If you receive or have already received correspondence from DWF confirming that we are nominated to accept service of proceedings, you should take that communication as notification that we are instructed, pursuant to PD51ZB section 1.9(1)(a)(ii). Where we are instructed, we shall write to you on a case-by-case basis, to confirm our email address for notification in the DCP, and our reference.
If you have already received confirmation from DWF that we are instructed, but do not yet have our email address for notification in the DCP, please contact the DWF handler directly, using the contact details on the correspondence you already have from us, and quoting our reference as it appears on that correspondence.
If you have not yet received a letter or email from DWF confirming that we are nominated to accept service of proceedings, please contact our client directly in order to confirm that we are instructed.
You must quote our full reference when serving your claim, either in the DCP or in accordance with CPR 6. Service without quoting our full reference, and/or using any email address other than that which we have provided to you for that purpose, will not constitute good service.
