Christopher supports the Financial Services Regulatory team in Dubai, where he assists a broad range of clients across the Middle East. With nearly a decade of experience across the Middle East and Australia, Christopher has provided strategic regulatory advice to a diverse range of clients in key financial hubs including the DIFC, ADGM, onshore UAE, QFC and Australia.

Christopher has supported clients on cross-border financial services, licensing applications, substantial shareholder disclosures, and fund regulation, while also overseeing the regulatory aspects of corporate restructures. His deep understanding of the legal frameworks governing the UAE, DIFC, ADGM, and QFC enable him to navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence.

Previously his experience in Sydney covered banking, financial services, advising on innovative payment systems and fintech solutions, foreign investment and digital assets. Christopher advised global financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds, investment managers, payment service providers and start-ups on regulatory and compliance matters, from preparing applications and liaising with regulators to negotiating optimal outcomes for clients.
