Experience

In her senior HR leadership roles, Louise has focussed on driving HR strategy over periods of significant change, including acquisition and integration.  A strategic thinker and consummate communicator, she builds best-in-class HR functions and leads the people agenda in highly regulated and competitive sectors globally, deploying deep expertise in agile and change-focused environments.

Louise has previously held senior HR roles at a range of Financial Services organisations including privately owned partnerships, global institutions and UK PLCs.  She's also worked within PE backed business, supporting owners' plans to scale and exit the business.

Prior to joining DWF, Louise held several roles with Aldermore Bank, and latterly acted as Interim CPO – she has deep experience advising the ExCo on the people agenda, and had direct responsibility for overseeing delivery of key HR activity including Business Partnering, Resourcing, Learning & Development, Employee Relations and HR Operations over a period of considerable change, including acquisition by First Rand and integration with MotoNovo Finance. Relentless in the pursuit of excellence, she has increased capacity and capability across the organisation whilst achieving significant cost and efficiency benefits. Major transformation projects include implementation of an HRIS as a core enabler of the group’s transformation strategy, and the rollout of an RPO which delivered >£1M saving in two years whilst reducing time-to-hire. Louise also played a significant role in owning the bank’s D&I strategy, ‘Value Our Differences’, a driving force of its high recruitment levels of women and BAME individuals.

Louise holds a Modern Languages degree from the University of Durham, and a Master’s in Human Resources Management from London South Bank University.
