He has 16 years' experience in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation including professional negligence, contract disputes, real estate litigation, boundary disputes, rights of way, prescriptive rights, consumer rights and cases involving Legal Expense Insurance.Matthew has acted for a number of major clients in the food and education sectors but his practice is now based in the insurance sector, acting on behalf of individuals and companies who have the benefit of Legal Expense Insurance.
The DWF team is one of the leading practices in the country in this area with a substantial team of 14 fee earners and seven support staff. Within this his specialist team currently includes 11 expert solicitors and three paralegals.
Outside of work Matthew is a keen golfer, both as a player and spectator, and is passionate about Everton Football Club.
