Experience
Prior to working at DWF, Merella practiced personal injury law at a prominent law firm. This experience taught her how to build a case from the ground up, as well as recognize the evidence she needs to bolster a case. After a successful verdict in a jury trial as co-counsel, Merella gained understanding in how to effectively present a case.
Merella takes a big picture approach to her files. She is able to assess the strengths and weaknesses of a case and determine the appropriate course of action in light of the evidence. This allows Merella to provide her clients with the best outcome in a timely and cost-effective manner. Merella now uses her previous experience and insight to defend insurance claims.
