His particular experience is in respect of coverage investigations and Independent Financial Advisers.Since entering insurance after university in 1995 on a management development scheme, Richard has worked in professional negligence claims. He has also handled claims arising from other classes of insurance and in cases with other financial institutions and traditional professions (architects, engineers, etc.). Since 2004 he has managed a small claims team at three different organisations. He has a good degree of experience in utilising management information and dealing with overseas jurisdictions as well as technical claims handling skills.
His language degree in French and German assists with this and he has supervised and audited handlers on behalf of an international insurer in respect of a diverse selection of risks.
Richard fell in love with France before his degree. Not only does he love the country but also its food and wine. To counterbalance this he goes to the gym and when he wishes to be less strenuous he enjoys photography.
