Co-hosted by Principal Lawyer Kim O'Reilly and Associate Alex McLeod, this event will feature a panel of female executives from various industries, who will share their journey to leadership, and answer questions about the challenges they faced and how they overcame them, and provide advice for those aspiring to move into leadership.

Founder – Male Champions of Change, United Nations Special Rapporteur for Discrimination Against Women and Girls; former Australian Sex Discrimination Commissioner, and Partner and Head of Legal Technology – Ashurst
As Australia’s longest serving Sex Discrimination Commissioner (2007-2015), Elizabeth worked tirelessly to break down structural and social barriers faced by women and men, and to promote gender equality. She is a globally acknowledged leader, social innovator and advocate.
She founded and convenes the ‘Male Champions of Change’ strategy activating influential men to take action on gender equality. She has led 13 major cultural reviews into Australia’s leading national institutions including the Australian Defence Force.
In 2017, Elizabeth was appointed by the United Nations in Geneva as a Special Rapporteur and Independent Expert. In 2016, Elizabeth was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia and was named 2016 NSW Australian of the Year.
Claudia Certoma
Non-Executive Director and Board Member – The Women's Housing Company; former General Counsel – Frasers Property Australia
Claudia is an experienced in-house general manager and general counsel with diverse experience in roles in property and project finance, NSW State Government and at major international contractors and developers.
In 2019 she was awarded a commendation for the Women in Leadership Award for Excellence by the NSW Urban Development Institute of Australia. Claudia was recently appointed as a non-executive director to the Board of Women’s Housing Company, a not for profit Tier 1 Community Housing Provider in NSW whose vision is to achieve excellence in the provision of affordable housing for single women.
Olga Ganopolsky
General Counsel, Privacy and Data – Macquarie Group
Olga joined Macquarie Group in June 2014, as General Counsel - Privacy and Data, after seven and half years at Veda Group Limited (as it was then), Australia’s leading credit reporting agency and the provider of data to most of Australia's and New Zealand's financial institutions.
Well versed in the subject of data protection and privacy compliance, with extensive experience in detailed privacy policy challenges, law reform and ongoing management of legal and strategic issues.
Olga is the Chairperson of the Law Councils’, Business Law Privacy Sub-committee, and a routine presenter of privacy and data protection issues, as well as a key contributor to publications on this subject. Olga is also a member of the New South Wales Law Society Privacy and Data Committee.
